The Bite of Bend

Since it’s inception in 2003, the Bite Of Bend has raised over $30,000 for charitable causes. The beneficiary of the 2010 Bite of Bend is the Kids Center

The Kids Intervention and Diagnostic Service Center provides abused children with a safe, friendly place to begin healing. The Kids Center serves over 450 children each year through medical evaluations and counseling. Because many services are available under one roof, they provide consistency and help ensure that no child or family falls through the cracks. The Kids Center offers two main services: medical evaluations and counseling. Other services include coordinating the annual Blue Ribbon Campaign in April, coordinating the Deschutes County Multi-Disciplinary Team, and consulting/training for other counties in Central and Eastern Oregon.
